Building on the success of Naidex, the UK’s leading event for disability, accessibility and independent living, the new Roadshow South will bring the event closer to communities across the South of England. It will connect disabled people, families, carers, healthcare professionals, occupational therapists, accessibility specialists, equipment providers and other industry experts for a day focused on innovation, support and improving independent living.
Visitors to Naidex Roadshow South can meet the Enable Access team at Stand N-E40, where we will be sharing our expertise in wheelchair ramps, access ramps and accessible mobility solutions.
For more than 25 years, Enable Access has been designing and manufacturing British-made accessibility products to help overcome everyday access challenges in homes, healthcare environments, workplaces, public buildings and commercial spaces.

“Making Support Accessible: Navigating Equipment and Financial Support”
The session takes place from 3:00pm to 3:45pm and will explore an important issue within the accessibility sector: what happens between recognising that someone needs additional support and that person receiving the equipment, assistance or funding they need.
Delays in assessments, equipment provision, funding and commissioning can have a significant impact on a person’s independence and everyday life. The panel will discuss how earlier intervention, better collaboration and clearer routes to support could help make essential equipment and accessibility solutions easier to obtain.
For Enable Access, this conversation is particularly important. Providing the right wheelchair ramp or access solution is only one part of improving accessibility. People also need to be able to understand their options, access appropriate professional advice and navigate the processes involved in getting the support they require.
